Chiaravalli CHG-K series helical-cone gearboxes are an example of a gearmotor, i.e. a mechanism responsible for power transmission in various types of machinery. Their name comes from the characteristic shape of the teeth resembling a cone. There is a distinction between gears with variable and fixed tooth height. Another division is the shape of the tooth line, which divides helical-cone gears into straight, helical and curved.
